Ok, time for my first product review. Yay! And the villagers rejoice! Anyway, on to the review…. egg molds

These egg molds are from Ichiban Kan for only $1.50 per set of 2. These are a little tricky to work with, mainly because egg sizes are not regulated. What may be a large here may be a jumbo in the next state. Keep this in mind when you get these. If you are planning on using them for a party or something make sure you have time to test them out and get used to using them before hand. My first try came out pretty bad. The eggs were too small and I tore the heck out of one trying to peel it while it was hot. Other than those couple of problems I love these. They are so cute! You can dye them with food coloring after they are molded to add a little more color to your bento. These are also great for making adorable Deviled Eggs. For Easter I used my bunny mold to make deviled eggs that were terrific. I will post the recipe soon.
Over all I would highly recommend this product. They are a great value and very cute.
I give it -
(4/5 sushi rolls)

Much to the delight of any possible readers of my other blog I am starting my bento blog here. For those who don’t know me, I am Rayne. I just recently got into the whole bento thing along with my sister. I am disabled so I don’t get out often but I still love having a bento lunch. Both my sister and I are crafty sorts of people so we have been thinking up all sorts of neat little ideas. Some good, some bad, some are down right ugly, but I will share some with you over time anyway. Soon I will take a picture of all my bentos and post them here but my collection is always growing. I just ordered around a dozen more today. Yes, I am a pack rat, but I believe just about everyone who is into bento’s is a pack rat at least a little.
Thanks to Biggie at lunchinabox.net I now shop at Ichiban Kan’s online store. Every time they post a new bento I try to buy it. My first ones were the Animal Click sets, and I hope to get the rest of the accessories for these.
Recently I have even convinced my fiance of the joys of bento, which was not easy. My sister was easy to hook because she, like me, loves Japanese culture. After seeing how convenient they were to my sister and after adding up how much he was spending in a week in vending machines at work only to get little snacks and still be hungry he became tempted. Then I showed him how much food even one of the small-ish 2 tier bentos I have holds he decided he wants one for work. He even said he didn’t care if it has “girlie designs” on it ~lol~
Well, I think I have rambled enough for my first post. I think you have a bit of an idea of who I am.
I will be posting more soon.
